My first wedding of the summer was scheduled to be in the Millennium Garden at the Hilde Event Center in Plymouth, MN. A beautiful outdoor ceremony in the Minnesota spring. Unfortunately it decided to POUR the moment we began taking some formal photos outdoors and didn’t stop all day. Despite this, we had a blast and got some great photos.

Marjorie McNeely Conservatory Wedding

Really great wedding from last weekend. The ceremony was held in the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory at Como Zoo in St. Paul. We had a fantastic sunset backlighting us on a mild winter day. The reception was in the Red Room of the Loring Pasta Bar in Dinkytown. Very neat atmosphere and tasty food with great people and a rock-n-roll story, how could this NOT be amazing?

New Years Wedding

I had the pleasure of shooting a New Years Eve wedding recently! The ceremony was in the oldest Lutheran Church in Minnesota, and I enjoyed a fine cigar with the groom and groomsmen before I headed home.

Hot Sam’s Engagement Photos – Lakeville

A few weekends ago I had an engagement shoot at Hot Sam’s Antiques in Lakeville, MN. With airplanes and cars sticking out of the ground near the entrance adjacent to the highway, Hot Sam’s is one of those places you would pass and think “HOLY CRAP I NEED TO CHECK THAT OUT!” but you never really get around to doing it. Well, you should go check it out. After the shoot I ended up buying a sweet mace/flail thing (handle with a chain with a ball of spikes on the end) on my way out. AWESOME.

Happy Gnome St. Paul Wedding

A few weekends ago I had a wedding at the Happy Gnome in Saint Paul, it was awesome! Such a neat little place with great food and tons of beers. I had a Bison/Elk Burger with blue cheese and lingonberry aioli. YUM.
